1,000 Gifts for Russian Kids

Infaprim, a major Russian baby formula producer, sponsored the New Year celebration organized with support from the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Dubai & Northern Emirates. The event took place on December 16 in one of Dubai's largest theme parks.

Russian expatriates in the United Arab Emirates attended the New Year celebration: more than 1,000 people were present including those on Russian diplomatic assignments, ambassadors and consuls general from the CIS countries, members of the business community, and other specialists working in the country with their families and children.  

The event was held in Rajmahal Theater, the main building in the Bollywood Parks amusement park that imitates the architecture and interior design of an Indian palace.

The event began with the musical called The Magical Tales of Scheherazade. Students at the AIST educational center took part in the performance.

Along with the musical, a New Year fair and exhibition started in the building of the theater, where visitors could see the best quality Russian products that were available or would soon become available to purchase in the United Arab Emirates. 

At its company exhibition stand, Infaprim displayed its finest products for children, pregnant and breastfeeding women: Nutrilak, a premium product range of dry-blended and ready-made infant formulas, and Winni, porridges for preparation with and without milk. Parents with their children made up the bulk of visitors at the stand.    

The celebration culminated in giving out sweet treats to the holiday fair's small visitors. Boxed chocolates with the total weight of 1,000 kilograms arrived from snow-bound Russia in the hot Emirates by air.

At the end of the celebration, the event organizers gave special thanks to Infaprim for the support of the event.

After visiting the Nutrilak stand, Oleg Fomin, Consul General for the Russian Federation in Dubai and Northern Emirates, said,

‘New Year is the favorite holiday for all Russian children. Those who live in the Emirates cannot see that magical winter landscape behind their windows.  But together with Infaprim we put these children in the mood for the New Year and gave 1,000 sweet gifts to our little visitors. I thank your company for the happiness you gave to these kids and wish happy New Year to all Russian children!’
